There are many bodies that are engaged in global response to diseases that are becoming more deadly to human health. This has called for worldwide awareness on how to curb and prevent them. A good example of such diseases is the HIV and AIDs. HIV organizations Nyc have been set up to help address the issues that affect people living with the virus. Through National AIDs control programmes, International development agencies, government, and nongovernmental organizations have devoted time, resources and energy to developing low-cost measures to intervene and arrest the spread of the virus. There several strategies that have been put in place to prevent the spread of the disease.

Increased mortality leads to reduced skilled population and labor force. This labor force reduces the work experience and skills required in the fast-growing job market as most of the remaining population are aged. This lowers productivity. To curb this, health sectors and other agencies have educated and advised infected pregnant mothers to avoid from the first day breastfeeding the infants.

Most of the time and cost is spent on taking care of the sick or seeking for a sick leave which reduces investment rate through loss of income. This will lead to diversion of attention and low decision-making process leading to depression and feeling stigmatized and finally, may lead to death.

World Health Organization Have gone an extra mile to offer routine universal HIV testing and STI screening and universal promotion of treatment. This is due to the fact that, the cost of treating the disease is high. Therefore, the World Health Organization has resolved to provide universal treatment to the victims whichever the income level and ensure that the ARVs are made available in the health facilities.

The pressure on the available in the health facilities in developing countries has increased as more people get admitted for treatment of HIV/AIDs related complications. There is a need to promote change in behavior to reduce the occurrence of the pandemic. This approach will help fight discrimination and stigma faced by the victims.

AIDs has widely impaired Education level and performance. The disease is eroding the supply of teachers and diluted the quality of education. This is because most of the money is diverted into medical rather than paying school fees this will force children to drop out of the school of also when teachers become ill and unable to work this renders learning paralyzed hence leading closure of schools. NYC this menace, the Education sector through the advice of health organizations has introduced HIV/AIDs as a unit or subject on their curriculum.

Also, these organizations have administered the use of emergency medical response methods like use of post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) which protects individual against HIV through an accident or women who have been raped. Although it has not been proved to prevent the transmission of the virus it suggested it minimizes the chance of contracting the disease if administered on time.

Promoting awareness and campaigns has educated many youths on the side effects of drugs and drugs addiction on their health. This will reduce the probability of contracting AIDS and STIs as most of them will have gained an insight into how to be cautious while interacting.
