With regards to autism children may display a wide range and spectrum of symptoms. One autistic child may have very severe symptoms and require full-time care for life while another kid with similar diagnosis may be independent and high functioning, with just a few minor signs and symptoms of this condition. There are some common signs and symptoms that may indicate autism though, and 3 common areas where signs and symptoms appear. If the Three major developmental areas are affected then autism is normally diagnosed.

For a determination of autism to be reached the child should be impaired in social connection, the verbal and nonverbal communication must be substantially afflicted, and there are patterns and repetitive manners that affect the interests and activities of the kid. When all of these areas have symptoms then the doctor or professional may diagnose autism with confidence. Each child is individual and unique, and will have specific symptoms and behavior patterns that must be evaluated.

With autism kids can fall everywhere on the very extensive spectrum that makes up this medical problem. Often kids with critical types of the problem may not communicate with others at all, and it is common for these children to lack empathy or show emotion. Several kids with this issue do best in a structured environment with a firm schedule and set activities that are anticipated.

Many autistic children experience stress and anxiety if an unpredicted occasion takes place or the daily routine is not followed perfectly for any excuse. This may result in an outburst from the child mainly because of the bad feelings experienced. A few autistic children don't respond to touch at all and do not seem to feel a need to touch others, even guardians and other family members. Impaired connection is obvious in all cases of autism, but the level of incapacity in this area can differ from one scenario to another.

In so many cases these children will grow up to be dependent adults who must be provided for, but this is not always correct. A few autistic kids can handle many tasks and have a small degree of social abilities available.
